According to officials, the arrested person has been identified as Prashant Bankar, the son of the doctor’s landlord whose name was mentioned in her four-page suicide note. The pillion rider, Nani, told the police that the bike had skidded and both had been thrown to the ground, with Shivshankar dying on the spot.
